Paul Steven Chancey

HOBOKEN — Mr. Paul Steven Chancey, 33, passed away suddenly Sunday, May 7, 2023, in Wayne County from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Chancey was born in Ware County to Ronnie Stanley Chancey, Jr. and Sherry Teresa Davis Harris. He was employed with Dan Spires Floor Covering in Waycross. He was a member of the 2-Wheel Mafia.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Chancey is survived by his wife, Angela Chancey of Hoboken; four children, Jayden Chancey, Tucker Chancey, Rylee Symons and Paxton Chancey; his father, “Steamer” Chancey (Diane) of Waycross; a brother, Zack Chancey (Brittany) of Hoboken; two sisters, Stacie Chancey (Dustin Manning) of Hoboken and Gracie Chancey of Waycross; a step-brother, Blake Moore of Nahunta; his maternal grandmother, Magdalene Q. Davis of Hoboken; maternal grandfather, Jimmy Davis of Waycross; paternal grandparents, Stanley and Wannell Chancey of Waycross; his mother and father-in-law, Tanya and Nino Cruz of Waycross; a sister-in-law, Brandi Pack of Waycross; two brothers-in-law, Jonathan Pack (Aimy Richards) of Waycross and Tony Lopez of Athens; three nieces, Abbie Durrance, Macie Brazelle and Ella Chancey; five nephews, Layton Durrance, Aidan Pack, Lancyn Pack, Michael Brazelle and David Brazelle; and numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family received friends Monday, May 15 at Music Funeral Home.
