BRUNSWICK — Joy Hill, 71 of Brunswick, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023, at her residence.
Mrs. Hill was born February 1, 1952, in Atlanta to William James Abna and Tommie Lee Mitchell Abna. She was the Regional Manager for D.E.I. Properties, and had lived in Brunswick for the past 10 years, coming from Dallas, Ga..
Mrs. Hill was a member of Waynesville Church of God, and enjoyed being out in her yard, her dogs, and being with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Rayburn Clayton Hill of Brunswick; sons, Vance Johnson (Kathy) of Arabi, Ga., and Terry Johnson (Amber) of Brunswick; a brother, Vernon Abna of Brunswick; a sister, Charlotte Terris of Brunswick; six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Saturday, April 22 at Waynesville Church of God with Rev. Bobby Tatum officiating.
Chapman Funeral Chapel & Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
