Misty Blu Allen Davis

BLACKSHEAR — Mrs. Misty Blu Allen Davis, 47 of Blackshear, passed away early Wednesday morning, February 15, 2023, at HCA Health in Jacksonville, Fla.

Born January 3, 1976 in Alma, Mrs. Davis had lived in Pierce County all her life.  She was a 1994 graduate of Pierce County High School and was the first female deputy in Pierce County.  

Mrs. Davis decided to pursue a degree in Nursing by attending South Georgia State College in Douglas.  Over the years, her nursing career had seen her working for the Pierce County Nursing Home, Southeast Georgia Health System – Brunswick Campus, as well as being a traveling nurse.  She had enjoyed working on crafts, selling Paparazzi Jewelry, and fishing.  

Mrs. Davis dearly loved her children and grandbabies.  She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Mrs. Davis was a daughter of the late Reppard Alfred Allen and Cynthia Paulette Thompson Sharpe.  She was also preceded in death by a sister, Cara Sharpe.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Jack Davis of Blackshear; her daughter and son-in-law, Cheyenne and Drew Dixon of Blackshear; her son and his fiancé, Jakeb Linville and Julie “Mya” Brooks of Hoboken; her sister, Kristy (Marc) Simmons of Alma; two brothers, Shaun (Suzanne) Allen and Bill (Missy) Sharpe all of Alma; four grandchildren, Braxten Linville, Adleigh Dixon, Emberlyn Linville and Sage Linville; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral services was held Saturday afternoon, February 18, 2023, from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment followed in the Ramah Cemetery.
