NAHUNTA — Nan Huling, 91 of Nahunta, passed away Friday evening, April 21, 2023 at her residence after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Huling was born June 5, 1931 in Shiloh, Ga., to the late Olin McDaniel and Mary Ella Dunn McDaniel. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ben Huling; and a daughter, JoAnne Huling.
Mrs. Huling retired from the Department of Family and Children Services and was a founding member of Southside Baptist Church in Nahunta.
Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Jacobs and husband, Rodney, of Nahunta; grandchildren, Josh Barber of Honolulu, Hawaii and Brandi Lane (David) of Sterling; three great grandchildren along with extended family and friends.
A graveside service was held Monday morning, April 24, 2023 at Greenlawn Cemetery with Bro. Bill Steed officiating.
Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
