WAVERLY — Christine Louise Butler, age 81, of Waverly, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
Miss Butler was a native of Dade County, Fla. She had been a resident of Camden County since 1958.
Miss Butler is preceded in death by her mother, father, and a brother. She is survived by her brothers, Harrel (Liz) Butler of Waynesville, Glenn Butler of Darien, Don (Marion) Butler of Waverly, Steve Butler of Clayton, Ga, and Woody (Julia) Butler of Waverly; sisters, Darlene Butler of Waverly and Joy Brown of Brunswick; several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Miss Butler was a member of Waverly United Methodist Church. She thoroughly enjoyed rocking in her rocking chair as often as possible. She loved gardening and always enjoyed her jigsaw puzzles and puzzle books.
A graveside service was held Monday, April 10, 2023 at Homeward Cemetery in Waverly. David Butler officiated.
