NAHUNTA – Joseph “Joe” Robert Winn, III, 34 of Nahunta, passed away early Sunday morning, April 2, 2023.
Winn was born in Waycross to Joseph Robert Winn, Jr. and Melanie Dawn Carter Winn. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph Robert Winn, Sr. and Nancy Winn, and his maternal grandfathers, James Oscar Carter and Butch Corbin.
Winn was a heavy equipment operator for Varn Wood Products, Inc. He loved spending time with his kids, being outdoors, hunting, fishing and being a mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Kayle Winn of Nahunta; two sons, Landon Winn and Reiner Winn both of Waycross; two daughters, Alyssa Pittman and Adelynn Pittman of Nahunta; his parents, J.R. and Dawn Winn of Jesup; a brother, Jasper Winn of Jesup; a sister, Julie Winn of Brunswick; his maternal grandmother, Margie Crews Corbin; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
