BRUNSWICK – Randy Clifton Watson, 42 of Brunswick, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023.
Born in Brunswick, Watson’s parents are Randy Wilbur Watson and Karen Drury Gatch. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Luther Drury, Ureta Drury Miller, Grier and Shirley Gatch; paternal grandparents, Gloria and Wilbur Watson and Alma Wilkes; and an uncle, Bryan Gatch.
Watson was a heavy equipment operator and attended Emanuel United Methodist Church. He loved spending time with his son, working on cars, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his son, Dominic Watson of Brunswick; his mother and stepfather, Karen Gatch (Roger) of Brunswick; his father and stepmother, Randy Wilbur Watson (Cristal) of Brunswick; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Dustin Gatch (Stacey) of Kingsland and Kevin Watson of Japan; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Ashley Langford (Zach) and Katie Watson all of Brunswick; aunts and uncles, John C. Watson, Donna Simpson (John), Glenda Rozier, Cecelia Morales and Lydia O'Donnell (Bob); and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
A funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon, April 25, 2023, at Emanuel United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Sharpe officiating.
Burial followed in Emanuel Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Zach Langford, Craig George, Scott Watson, Shawn Gailey, Pete Baldwin and Tony Rubine.
Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
