WAYNESVILLE – Georgia Lee Fiddler Edgy, 69 of Waynesville, passed away Friday morning, December 23, 2022, at her residence following an extended illness.
Born in Oakland, Cal., her parents were George Marion Fiddler and Hazel Faye Phips Fiddler.
Mrs. Edgy was a homemaker and a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Brunswick. She was also a seamstress and a missions director at BBC.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Clayton Edgy of Waynesville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Lucas Edgy (Sara) and Levi Edgy (Mindy) both of Piedmont, Mo., Lenton Edgy (Amber) of Fredrick Town, Mo.; 17 grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve Fiddler (Donna) of Baker, Ore., and Randy Fiddler (Stephanie) of Fruitland, Idaho; a sister and brother-in-law, Sheryn Flowers (Lloyd) of Hortense; also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
A funeral service for Mrs. Edgy was held Tuesday morning, December 27, 2022, at Bible Baptist Church in Brunswick with Pastor Mike Landrum and Bro. Jeff Miller officiating.
Burial followed in Pilgrims Rest cemetery.
Pallbearers were Clay Edgy, Eijah Edgy, Conner Buntion, Eli Edgy, Landrum Edgy,and Levi Edgy.
Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
