NAHUNTA — Russell Alan Thrift, 56 of Nahunta, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022, in Waycross.
Born in Waycross, Thrift’s parents were Russell Thomas Thrift and Shirley Ann Allen Thrift. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Donna Lynn Thrift.
Thrift was a boilermaker and loved fishing, the Georgia Bulldogs and NASCAR.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Mallory Aaron (Michael) of Tom Bay, Fla., Kayla Thrift (Chris Tyson) of Hilliard, Fla., and Hannah Thrift of Hoboken; two grandchildren, Alanna Thrift and Alyvia Aaron both of Tom Bay, Fla.; also several other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held Friday, December 30, 2022, at 3 p.m., at Riverside Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Wainright officiating.
Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service, at the Church.
