Randy Allen Crews

NAHUNTA – Randy Allen Crews, 63 of Nahunta, passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 23, 2022 at his residence after an extended illness.

Born in Waycross, his parents were Eugene Shelton Crews and Georgia Mae Moore Crews. Crews is also preceded in death by his wife, Karen Gaines Crews; son, Randy Lee Crews; and three brothers, Harold Fountain, Danny Fountain and Sheldon Crews.

Crews worked on a dairy farm and was of the Baptist faith. He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids, riding four-wheelers, going to the river, fishing and working.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ashley Crews (Mallarie) of Alabama and Samuel Crews (Becky) of Bowdon, Ga.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Angel Crews of Georgia and Brandy Rebecca Henderson (Timothy) of Alabama; several grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Patsy Rowell (Pat) of Hickox; a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth Wayne Crews (Judy) of Nahunta; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

A graveside service was held Saturday afternoon, November 26, 2022 at New Hope Cemetery with Rev. Trey Keene and Rev. Phillip Rowell officiating.

Pallbearers were Bubba Crews, Dylan Rowell, Sammy Crews, Bobby Crews and Pat Rowell.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
