Mosley, Sr.
BRUNSWICK — Milford Carnell Mosley, Sr. 85 of Brunswick, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.
Mosley was born May 30, 1937 in Brunswick to General Latt Mosley and Sudie May Harris Mosley. Mosley was a member of Way of the Cross Baptist Church, was raised in Vidalia, and had lived in Tennessee, and Virginia, but most of his life in Brunswick. He was a truck driver, heavy equipment operator and mechanic.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight siblings.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Collene Bryan Mosley; children, Milford Carnell Mosley, Jr., (Karen) of Jacksonville, Tony Wayne Mosley (Cindy) of Brunswick, Donna Renee’ Turner (Randy) of Brunswick, and Ricky Lynn Mosley (Lisa) of Hortense; a sister, Joyce Crapps (Wyman) of South Carolina; seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate Mosley’s life will be held today (Wednesday, November 30, 2022) at 6 p.m., in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Chapel with Pastor Joey Chancey officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
