MACON — Wesley Felton Murray, 56, of Macon passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, December 13, 2022, at his home after an extended illness.
Born in Jacksonville, Fla., Murray is survived by his parents, Ray Virgil Murray and Judith Lee Rhodes.
Murray attended Brantley County High School and worked in billboard and tower construction.
Survivors include his son, Joshua Stone,;his sister, Kathleen Gettmann; his brother-in-law, Jay Gettmann; his niece, Emily Sabula’ and nephew, Conner Gettmann; as well as several beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A graveside service was held Friday afternoon, December 16, 2022, at High Bluff Cemetery in Hoboken with Reverend Mark Hudgins officiating.
Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta.
