PCHS cross country traveled to Douglas last Thursday (Oct. 13) for Coffee County’s first home meet of 2022.
Both teams had strong showings, with girls varsity placing third overall and boys varsity placing fourth.
Natalie Daniels led the girls’ top five with a 23:56.79 time. Following her were Yuridia Gaona (26:23.62), Neveah Grant (26:31.29), Ana Llamas-Diaz (28:39.03) and Maya Cochran (29:59.55).
Dylan Hersey earned the varsity boys’ top time with 20:08.40. Completing the top five were Spencer Hawkins (20:42.47), Corbin Hunzeker (20:46.86), Joe Drew (21:00.84) and Levi Hardy (21:41.51).
Tomorrow (Oct. 20) PCHS cross country travels to Hazlehurst for the Three Rivers Cross Country Classic.
