HORTENSE — Wesley Andrew Jacobs, Sr., of Hortense, passed away suddenly Saturday, October 10, 2022.
Born in Waycross, Jacobs’ parents are David Wayne Jacobs and Frankey Little Jacobs of Hortense. He was also preceded by a cousin, Jay Hodge.
Jacobs loved hunting, fishing, spending time with the boys, building things with his hands, world history, and worldly information. He worked as a flooring contractor for Self Floors.
Survivors include his parents, David Wayne and Frankey Little Jacobs of Hortense; a son, Wesley Andrew Jacobs, Jr. of Hortense; and a step-son, Tommy Willis of Hortense’ his fiancé, Rochelle Smith of Hortense; also several other relatives and a host of friends.
A funeral service will be held Friday, October 14, 2022, at 11 a.m., at Little Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Ritchie Self officiating.
Visitation will be held an hour prior to service, at the Church.
Burial will follow in Little Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Devon Addis, Joe Quarterman, William Smith, Jason Taylor, Jared Self and Gary Frantum.
Honorary pallbearers will be Derek Addis, Darin Addis and Charles Hodge.
