Joyce Mattox Anderson, 85, of Marietta, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024, at her home, after a long illness. Her family and her dog, Lucy, were by her side.
Born in Alma March 7, 1938, she went to the Georgia School for the Deaf in Cave Springs at the age of 8. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sands Stanley and Cleo Henderson Mattox; two brothers, Tracy “Oats” Mattox and Ricky Mattox; two sisters, Latrell Judkins and Georgia Grace Altman and her grandson, James Dylan Anderson.
