Don Allen King Jr., 31, of Blackshear, passed away late Saturday evening, January 27, 2024, at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross.
Born in Waycross August 16, 1992, he lived in Pierce County all his life. He was a 2010 graduate of Pierce County High School. He worked in the logging business for a while before going into construction. A true country boy at heart, he loved being outdoors fishing, hunting or just riding dirt roads but his favorite thing to do was spend time with his daughter.
He was the son of the late Don Allen King Sr. and Janet Tatum King. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mary Hickox, step-grandfather, Harold Hickox and John C. Tatum.
Survivors include his daughter, Kenzlee Michelle King, Blackshear; his aunt, Nola Sweat, Alma; his uncles, Joe Tatum, Blackshear, and Tony Tatum, Monroe County; cousins, Joseph Lee Tatum, Blackshear, Lynn Tatum, Forsyth, Nicky Tatum, Forsyth, and Mary Ann Cleveland, Forsyth and several other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Friday, February 2, at the funeral home.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
