Gilmore Claude Reddy Jr., 57, of Blackshear, passed away Wednesday afternoon, April 3, 2024, at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross.
Born in Augusta October 16, 1966, he had lived in Kite, prior to moving to Pierce County in 2022. He had worked in construction and maintenance work all his life. He loved to work on cars and enjoyed listening to music. He will be remembered for always joking around and having fun.
He was a son of the late Eva Mae Odom Waters. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, April Davis and by a sister, Eva Mae Waters.
Survivors include his daughter, Stephanie (Perfecto) Hernandez, Kite; three sons, Bryant Reddy, Kite and Leland Reddy and Austin Reddy, both of North Carolina; his father, Gilmore Claude Reddy Sr., Blackshear; a sister, Joann (Van) Phan, Largo, FL; two brothers, Andrew (Leslie) Reddy of Texas and Eddie Waters, Swainsboro; nine grandchildren, Ariela Mora, Maria Mora, Jose Hernandez, Sophia Hernandez, Vanessa Davis, Carlos Campos, Karla Davis, Sebastian Camino and Leo Gabriel; a great-grandchild, Juan Miguel Mendez; his companion, Jennifer Hernandez, Blackshear and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
Memorialization is by cremation.
