Christopher "Brock" Peacock, 32, of Blackshear, passed away suddenly Wednesday morning, April 24, 2024, in Wayne County.
Born in Waycross July 16, 1991, he lived in Pierce County all his life. He worked for EAM as a machine operator prior to going to work for Kirby Enterprises where he was a maintenance technician. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt, fish and go boating. He was an avid gun collector, a good mechanic, and a self-proclaimed wheeler/dealer on Facebook Marketplace. He was an amazing husband and daddy and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shelly Smart Dixon and his maternal grandfather, Linton Smart.
Survivors include his wife, Becky Clark Peacock, Blackshear; his children, Christopher Brayden Peacock and twin daughters, Taylan Brooke Peacock and Baylee Ann Peacock, all of Blackshear; his father, F. David “Dave” Peacock, Jr. (Beth Crumpton), Blackshear; his step-father, Revis Dixon, Blackshear; his sister, Brittany Peacock (fiance’, Jerrell Wilson), Blackshear; his brother, Brandon (Giovanna) Peacock, JBMDL, NJ; his maternal grandmother, Mary (Woodson) Dixon, Blackshear; his paternal grandparents, F. David Peacock Sr., Blackshear and Martha (George) Blackman, Jacksonville, FL; nieces and nephew, Gracie Wilson, Adalynn Wilson, Ellie Wilson and Matthew Wilson; aunts and uncles, Dana (Jason) Tatro, Helen Arnold and Link (Ginger) Smart, all of Blackshear; his beloved pet dog, Buck and several other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 7-9 pm. Friday, April 26, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, from the Pearson-Dial Chapel with the Rev. Monroe Gill officiating.
Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.
