Tracey Arlene Brooke Higgs, 44, of Blackshear, passed away Sunday afternoon, April 7, 2024, at her residence.
Born in Waycross April 21, 1979, she lived in Pierce County most of her life. She had worked as a clerk for Dollar General as well as other retail stores and attended Remnant Church. She enjoyed fishing and going to the beach, was a true Georgia Bulldog fan and loved spending time and playing with her four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Bill Tillman Jr. and by her sister, Kimberly Dawn Higgs.
Survivors include her children, Tyler (Destiny) Sweat, Patterson and Candace Marie Sweat, Waycross; her parents, Patricia “Pat” Whittle Tillman, Blackshear and James (Teri) Higgs Jr.,Blackshear; two step-sisters, Vicki (Alan) Jeffords, Waycross and Selina (Archy) Bennett, Dixie Union; four grandchildren, William Sweat, Langston Sweat, Braxton Moody and Addy Moody and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be in the Mershon Cemetery.
