Paulette Evelyn Larsen Eason

Paulette Evelyn Larsen Eason, 74, of Blackshear, passed away Monday, August 12, 2024, in Jesup.

Born in Jersey City, NJ May 18, 1950, she had lived in Pierce County most of her adult life.  She retired from Wal-Mart in Waycross after 20 years of service.  She had spent the last several years being a homemaker.  Mrs. Eason enjoyed shopping and having her nails done.  She was the epitome of a loving and devoted wife and still wanted to look good for her husband.  Mrs. Eason always enjoyed going to church having been a member of Victory Baptist but was most recently attending Walkerville Baptist with her granddaughter.  She loved Jesus and reading her Bible and will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

She was a daughter of the late Jack L. and Eva Angelina Majocchi Larsen. She was also preceded in death by a son, Wayne Eason; her sister, Teresa Martin and her brother, George Martin.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Bayne Eason, Blackshear; three sons, Gerome Eason, Blackshear, Ricky Eason, Odum and Brennan Eason, Jesup; a daughter-in-law, Cyndi Davis Eason, Odum; nine grandchildren, Tyler Watkins, Gerniee (Zach) Saylor, Quetin Eason, Romey Eason, Frankie Eason, Bayne Eason, Landon Eason, Sasha Eason and Jacob Eason; four great-grandchildren, Eli Watkins, Anna Jade Watkins, Braydon Sweat and Bailey Bryant; a nephew, Kenneth Martin and several Eason nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives.

Visitation will be from 3-4 p.m. Saturday, August 17, at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will be in the Bristol Cemetery.
