Wanda Gail Britt Davis, 69, of Blackshear, passed away Thursday morning, June 20, 2024, at her residence.
Born in Blackshear, May 15, 1955, she lived in Pierce County most of her life. She received her Licensed Practical Nurse degree and worked for the former Pierce County Hospital before becoming disabled. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed painting and drawing/sketching.
She was a daughter of the late Maurice and Christine Banks Britt. She was also preceded in death by a step daughter, Kelly Crosby; a brother, Wayne Britt; and two brothers-in-law, Monni Carden and Andy Driggers.
Survivors include her daughter, Nikki Davis, Blackshear; her son, Chris, Kodak, TN; three sisters, Wilda Carden, Barnwell, SC, Linda (Pogie) Herrin, Blackshear and Donna Driggers, Bristol; two brothers, Warren (Robin) Britt, Waycross and Wade (Amy) Britt, Lake Butler, FL; four grandchildren, Bailee Britt, Bentlee Davis, Anslee Davis, and Jacey Zipperer; special niece and nephew, Tess Crosby and Kyle Davis; a special friend, Coye Bunton, Blackshear and several other nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be held from 5-6 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at the funeral home.
Interment will be in the Blackshear Cemetery.
