Eleanore “Ellen” Louise Enzian Wells, 78, of Hawkinsville (formerly of Patterson), passed away Monday morning, July 22, 2024, at her son’s residence following en extended illness.
Born August 15, 1945, in Frankfort, Germany, she had lived in Pierce County since the late 1970s. She was a longtime housewife and was of the Baptist faith. She was a good-hearted person who loved deeply and was loved by many. She was well known in Pierce County for her compassion toward animals and animal rights.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Wells.
Survivors include her four sons, Guido Valerio (wife Joy), Brunswick, Mike Enzian (wife Penny), Hawkinsville, James Valerio (wife Sheryl), Jeffersonville and John Enzian, Patterson; grandchildren, Sasha, Shayna, Hannah, Casey, Brittany, Curtis, Autumn, Jamie Lee, Dakota, John, Kayla and Amber; and great-grandchildren Cecily, Nolan, Noah, Preston, Ethan, Aaron, Ashley and Harley.
Memorialization is by cremation.
