Joyce Lee Trieschman Lynn, 84, of Blackshear, passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 28, 2023, at Harborview Pierce in Blackshear, following an extended illness.
Born June 24, 1939, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary E. James Trieschman. She lived most of her life in Maryland before moving to Blackshear in 2005. She had worked for many years as a music executive and then as the office manager for a YMCA Camp in Annapolis, Maryland. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Blackshear.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James William Lynn Sr. and her sister, Shirley Elizabeth Ruehl.
Survivors include her niece Robin Ruark (husband Todd) and their daughter Hanna; nephew, Chuck Ruehl (wife Donna); step-daughter, Mary Elizabeth Thompson (husband William James III); three grandchildren, Emily Lynn Thompson, William James Thompson IV and Jenna Elieen Thompson and several other relatives.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
