Mom Prom to be held March 4

Enthusiasm and excitement are being shown by seven contestants vying for Mom Prom Queen title. The Mom Prom will be held Saturday, March 4, at the C. C. McCray City Auditorium in Waycross. “Contestants are really busy visiting businesses, friends and families for monetary support for Bethesda Recovery, a Waycross residential home for women of addiction,’’ says Bethesda Recovery director Cathy Sweat, pictured middle. Tickets are being sold and contestants and Bethesda supporters are seeking backers and monetary support. Offered are residential care, out patient, pastoral counseling, substance misuse counseling. Bethesda is changing the face of addiction one life at a time. Working hard to raise Bethesda Recovery funds are contestants:  Amanda Stone, Shelina Murchison, Christi Pitts, Carla Willingham, Michelle Shaw Brown, Kay Tatum and Andrea DeLoach.’’
