Eva Mae Crawford Thomas

Eva Mae Crawford Thomas, 78, of Blackshear, passed away Tuesday morning, October 4, 2022, at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House in Waycross.

Born in Blackshear January 17, 1944, she had lived in Fitzgerald for several years prior to moving back to Pierce County nearly 15 years ago. She was a homemaker and so enjoyed being with her children. She always loved going to church and being with her church family. She was a former member of the Fitzgerald Church of God and was a current member of the Blackshear Church of God.  

She was a daughter of the late Sargent Lloyd Crawford and Rachel Raulerson Clark.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Dianna Elizabeth Mack; two grandchildren, John Allen Mack Jr. and Sheena Eve Johnson; both of her sisters, Betty Ramsey and Valeria Dixon; and both of her brothers, Frankie Crawford and Gary Dale Crawford.

Survivors include her three sons, John Mack, Randy (Pam) Mack and Kevin Mack all of Blackshear; a brother-in-law, A. J. Dixon of Florida; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family will celebrate her life at a later date.

Memorialization is by cremation.
