SFC Paula Sinkfield Worley

Sergeant First Class Paula Sinkfield Worley, United States Army Retired, 59, of  Whetstone, AZ, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023 in Tuscon, Arizona.  

She was born May 25, 1963 to Solomon and Lula (Wilson) Sinkfield in Waycross. She graduated high school from Waycross High School Class of 1982 and was working on her Master’s through  the University of Phoenix. She was a proud member of United States Army. She worked as a food operations manager for the United States Army. She served over 20 years before retiring at the rank of Sergeant First Class. After retirement from the Army, she worked as a contract officer representative for the United States Army for 10 years and retired in 2021.

She married Charles Worley in Savannah June 15, 2000. To this union they had three children. They lived in Whetstone, AZ

She was a member of First Full Gospel Baptist Church in Sierra Vista, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Solomon and Lula Sinkfield.

Survivors include her loving spouse of 23 years, Charles Worley; children, Jason Worley (wife Doneisha), Kristi (Boggs) Mackey (husband, Henry), Charles Jackson (wife LaDeidre); siblings, Stanley Sinkfield Sr. and Charles Sinkfield; 11 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members.  

A memorial service will be held Thursday, Feb. 16, at the  Hatfield Funeral Home in Sierra Vista, AZ.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 25, from the New Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 901 Ossie Davis Parkway, Waycross.

Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Waycross.

Memorials are suggested to the Hatfield Funeral Home,  830 S. Hwy 92, Sierra Vista, Arizona 85635.
