Misty Blu Allen Davis, 47, of Blackshear, passed away early Wednesday morning, February 15, 2023, at HCA Health in Jacksonville.
Born in Alma January 3, 1976, she had lived in Pierce County all her life. She was a 1994 graduate of Pierce County High School and was the first female deputy in Pierce County. She decided to pursue a degree in Nursing by attending South Georgia State College in Douglas. Over the years her nursing career had seen her working for the Pierce County Nursing Home, Southeast Georgia Health System – Brunswick Campus, as well as being a traveling nurse. She enjoyed working on crafts, selling Paparazzi Jewelry and fishing. She dearly loved her children and grandbabies. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was a daughter of the late Reppard Alfred Allen and Cynthia Paulette Thompson Sharpe. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Cara Sharpe.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Jack Davis, Blackshear; her daughter and son-in-law, Cheyenne and Drew Dixon, Blackshear; her son and his fiancé, Jakeb Linville and Julie “Mya” Brooks, Hoboken; her sister, Kristy (Marc) Simmons, Alma; two brothers, Shaun (Suzanne) Allen and Bill (Missy) Sharpe, all of Alma; four grandchildren, Braxten Linville, Adleigh Dixon, Emberlyn Linville and Sage Linville and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at the funeral home chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be in the Ramah Cemetery.
