Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) card this week. Students had to be enrolled in Pierce County Schools as of May 2022 for Summer P-EBT 2022 benefits.
School Nutrition Director Becky Swain said that Pierce County students who are eligible started receiving the P-EBT cards last week.
The Georgia Department of Human Services’ (DHS) Division of Family & Children Services began issuing the third round of 2021-22 P-EBT benefits last week.
The P-EBT cards issued this week cover the 2022 summer months for eligible children. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)enrolled children ages 0-5 and 5 who turned 6 during the school year, as well as K-12 students who participated in the National School Lunch Program, will receive the one-time $391 benefit issuance.
The benefits cover the 2022 summer month time frame for community eligibility provision (CEP) and/or free and reduced meal program eligible children. For more information please call the P-EBT Hotline at 888-421-3281.
