Pierce County Recreation Department announces their spring sports programming and registration dates.
Registration for all 2023 spring sports including baseball and softball, machine pitch lite (MPL), kickball and spring soccer is underway from now through Friday, February 17. There will again be two ways to register, in office and via email. Registration flyers outlining fees and control dates will be sent out through the local elementary schools by the end of next week. The Rec Department is excited to offer kickball for younger children this spring. Kickball participants need to be 3 years old by May 1. MPL participants need to be 5 years old by May 1 and Big Kickers participants need to be 5 years old by May 1.
As always the Rec Department is looking for volunteer coaches to coach spring sports. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer coach or if you have any questions concerning the registration process please call the office at 912-449-4791.
