Linda Susan McHale Lowman, 64, of Mershon, passed away Tuesday morning, July 25, 2023, at the Twin Oaks Convalescent Center in Alma.
Born in Chicago, IL October 16, 1958, she lived in Pierce County most of her adult life. She had been a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for many years and had worked for General Housing prior to going to work for Clayton Homes where she had been a service manager. She was a very talented artist and seamstress and loved anything to do with crafts. She also enjoyed cooking and could do anything she set her mind to. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a member of Mershon Baptist Church.
She was a daughter of the late Henry Joseph McHale Sr. and Roberta Bentley Donner. She was also preceded in death by both of her sisters, Cindy Moxley and Belinda Steedley.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, John W. Lowman Sr., Bristol; two daughters, Patricia McBee, Twin City and Audrey Lowman, Blackshear; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Rebecca Lowman, Mershon; her brother, Henry McHale Sr, (wife, Lois), Bristol; six grandchildren, Jonathan Bullard, Brittany (Maxon) Horton, Lillian Moore, John D. Lowman, Camryn Moore and Corban Lowman; three great-grandchildren, Asher Horton, Dautry Blaze Bullard Raelynn Horton and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Friday, July 28, at Mershon Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 28, from the Mershon Baptist Church with the Rev. Mitch Hall and the Rev. R. C. James officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bristol Cemetery.
