Blackshear Actress Nikki DeLoach will star in “The Gift of Peace” slated to debut on The Hallmark Channel at 10 p.m. this Saturday, December 10.
The film marks the first movie produced under Hallmark’s faith-based brand DaySpring®.
The movie tells the story of “a once-devout Christian who stops believing in God after her husband tragically died. As her second Christmas without him approaches, she tries going to a support group for inspiration and comfort.”
“It’s a special project to me. It is the first faith-based movie that Hallmark has ever done,” DeLoach shared. “I’m a person of deep faith so it was really cool to be a part of that.”
The message of overcoming grief was one that has especially hit close to home for the actress.
DeLoach’s father, local businessman David DeLoach, passed away last July at age 66.
DeLoach says she is grateful to have been a part of the film and she hopes her hometown fans will enjoy “The Gift of Peace”, too.
DeLoach is the daughter of retired school superintendent Terri DeLoach. She currently resides in Los Angeles, CA, with her husband, Ryan, and two young sons, Hudson and Bennett.
