Beats & Eats event to feature concert by ‘The Royals’ April 28

The annual Beats and Eats featuring the The Royals is slated for 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 28, in Blackshear City Park.

The Royals are a Jacksonville, Florida-based party band with a play list that ranges from current top 40 to classic hits of the 60s, 70s, 80s and more.

Local food vendors will be on hand offering concessions.

There is no admission charge for Beats and Eats, but locals can reserve a table (seats eight) for $200 via Main Street Blackshear’s Facebook page or by emailing [email protected].

No tents or pets will be allowed in the park and smoking and vaping will only be allowed in designated areas.

The City of Blackshear was awarded a Vibrant Communities grant by the Georgia Council for the Arts (GCA) in November to assist with funding Beats and Eats.

The Royals will perform in concert at this year’s Beats and Eats event.
